thanks
Hey. Thanks for posting this video - I hadn't seen it yet. To be honest though, I've tnded to avoid most stuff related to gary because he seems to thrive on getting attention - no matter what kind it is.
Here's a few words I directed at him recently:
It truely boggles me how the term terrorism is thrown around these days. There's what - 20 or so different definitions?
Even more boggling, is how - if for example I said various Canadians in or near Caledonia have been in engaging in acts of terrorism - spreading hate, political and racial dogma, stalking people, threatening people with violence and death, and so on -- you would say that's not terrorism - you would say "it's within my right" or use some stream of logic to justify your actions. Maybe "but Six Nations people did it first" or maybe you'd just outright deny it.
But then someone here (who may or may not even be Haudenosuanee) speak agressiviely, maybe make a threat out of sheer anger - maybe says "any time, any place" - or any Candian or non-canadian on this land who does not subscribe to some uniform idealogy or perspective - - and maybe acts a bit harshly or aggressively - and you DEMAND it's terrorism, and you act like you're the victim.
But you don't stop there, because you falliciciously apply it the whole. "They're all terrorists", "there are criminals" "They should all be thrown in jail."
Any rational-thinking person perfectly understands what I'm saying: Your perception is the only valid one. And everything you observe, etc. is filtered through your own perception - made to fit, without regard or consideration to others and even to reality itself (known as the settler mentality).
If it does not fit, you deny or ignore it like it was never said, otherwise you bend and manipulate it, to make it fit. If it does fit though, if only because your perspective affords you the priveldge to select what you deem is worthy - well you then begin draining it of substance, exploiting it for the want of your agenda or personal mission.
You also move from subject to subject. When one is dried up, it seems to disappear like it never happened, and then it's on to the next.
And there's no accountability anywhere - instead it is spun to your advantage because ones' reputation or need for moral authority outweighs taking responsibility - or being responsible in the first place. That very concept may also be skewed. (eg, financial compensation somewhow becomes JUSTICE...)
Always striving to move your interests forward - even if it's at the expense of your own agenda (which may or may not even be real.) you continue walking because you insist you are right. Even if a cliff suddenly appears - you don't see it becase the only reason there's a cliff in front of you is becasue of the path your on. Maybe you still have access to some commonsense and you avoid it - at which time you may or may not blame it on the proponents of what you are against.
(well that stream of thought is over)
Disturbing, yes?
Welcome to the world of colonialism.
Please don't drink the water, breathe the air, or feed the animals.

Hi from montreal.
I'm from Native Solidarity News which apears on CKUT radio. I was reading an article in the national post about Mchale and how he believed that natives were getting some form of justice. I would like to say thank you for posting this video now everyone can see how much of a racist he really is.
