Since 2005, Upping the Anti: A Journal of Theory and Action has published hundreds of articles, interviews, letters, and roundtables that document and reflect on grassroots organizing and radical politics.

We pride ourselves on publishing a print journal, but it’s high time for Upping the Anti to become widely available and accessible online.

A new website will help us reach new readers and audiences who want to engage with movement debates and lessons learned through organizing, and hone their analysis of anti-capitalist, anti-oppressive, and anti-imperialist politics. We are an all-volunteer collective and all of our subscription and sustainer money currently goes to publishing our print journal, twice per year. We need our readers’ support to build a new website and bring grassroots theory to the masses.
